Cartoons and Illustrations
Artist/Illustrator J.C. Johnson studied advertising and illustration at the Fashion Institute of Technology in New York City and has worked in both the publishing and advertising fields. A former Art Director for Direct Marketing magazine, Johnson's 'New Yorker' style caroon creations have graced the pages of numerous publications and been featured on the covers of several national trade magazines. Many of J.C. Johnson's pencil sketches of celebrities have appeared on WLIW/Channel 21, one of the tri-state areas leading PBS stations.
